Privacy Policy

Pinnacle Financial Group (PFG) has established and maintains procedures to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of Personal Information (PI) of our clients which we possess in the normal course of our business. Our security measures are reasonably designed to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control.

Effective March 1, 2010, Massachusetts law mandates certain standards for the protection of PI and compliance with 201 CMR 17.00, Standards for the Protection of Personal Information of Residents of the Commonwealth. As a result the following has been adopted by PFG to ensure the protection of PI in both paper and electronic records:

  • Written Information Security Program (WISP) established
  • Designated/Assigned Owner to maintain and manage WISP performance
  • Secured authentication protocols, including password and "need to know" basis
  • Data encryption procedures established for both public networks, laptops and other portable devices
  • Records and data containing PI secured in locked storage area or containers
  • Established training for employees and compliance monitoring

Based on the above compliance measures, we believe that our program is designed to protect our clients' personal and business information as defined in Massachusetts regulations and we have provided this information to help you better understand and manage your own PI. Please note our WISP does not discharge the responsibility of our clients to individually meet their applicable security requirements under the standards.

If you have further questions or concerns regarding our PI compliance program, please contact Kevin Coffey at kcoffey@e-pfg.com or 508-281-8216.
